In 2010, I made a resolution to exercise more. I took a good hard look in the mirror and I thought to myself, Carley if you don't look good now you never will. I began researching yoga studios. It was a bit intimidating, I won't lie. I forced myself to do it! Now I'm really proud of myself because I took up yoga and I stayed with it. In fact, i love yoga now! This was the first time in my life that i made exercise a consistent part of my schedule. I never had the interest or drive to stay with it. For those of you that feel the same I can say, it gets better. I took a lot of classes at different studios before I found the classes I love. I've also made some new girlfriends who love yoga as well and that has opened some really cool doors for me too. This year I've been thinking of new resolutions to make and I've decided that it is time to eat healthier. Yoga and pasta was always my route. I'm not quite ready to kill that guilty pleasure but I would like to incorporate more greens into my diet in 2011. Salads can be wonderful but I always seem to be drawn to the pasta! So this is my new years resolution! If I order pasta I want to start with a salad and try to fill up on that! Eating healthy and exercising are important and I'm making this a priority:). I welcome you 2011!
