There are a few things on my list that I would love to do before I die. Reading for a David Chase film is one down! I spent this morning preparing for my scene and watching the secret. I did my best to clear my mind of all the hustle & bustle that surrounds me day by day. I held on to a rock that has become my gratitude rock and I took a moment to embrace all the things I am grateful for. I prayed to god thanking him for all the blessings in my life. I put one foot before the next and off I went.
For those of you unaware of who David chase is, he is the creator of the sopranos. Meredith Tucker handles the casting. She has cast for sopranos, entourage, boardwalk empire and evita. These are some heavy career-launching mongrels.
Take 2- I'm in the bathroom of paramount studios rehearsing my lines in the mirror. Oddly enough my first line is:
Young woman: I have to pee so bad:)
So there I am holding myself gripping the door to the bathroom when some random office worker walks in and looks at me like I'm crazy. Haha. Oh well:). What r u gonna do:).
I finally got called in at 3:20 pm. I kept my little good luck rock in my purse and I went in there smiling away. I was off book and confident so keep your fingers crossed that I book this. I've attached a sneak peak of me all dolled up for my audition!
